The hotel "Münchner Hof" is
right in the middle of the old town of Regensburg, which
is the only medieval city in Germany being well-preserved.
The former neighborhood of the "triflers", who
there offered their goods in the middle ages, provides
incomparable medieval flair until today.
Walking through the narrow alleys you can breath the 2000 years of history in
this city.
Amidst this unique atmosphere there is a tradition especially for guesthouses
and tavernes. Originally the hotel "Münchner Hof" was known as "Gaststätte
zur weißen Traube" ("Guesthouse the white grape") and exists
since 1822. It is called "Münchner Hof" ("Munich's yard")
since 1896 and reminds with this name of "Munich's brewery", which
still delivers the beer to the restaurant.
